3. How to Make a Purchase with Japan Flow?
Follow these 5 steps to purchase your favorites with ease:
Step 1: Search for Products You Want
Customers search for the product they want, or fill in the product request form
Step 2: Await approval
Customers create accounts, submit the buy request by clicking 'Add to cart' button on product page or fill the product request form, and wait for approval from us in up to 2 working days
Step 3: Make Your 1st Payment
Users make 1st payment covering the product cost and service fee. See detailed service fees here.
Step 4: We Prepare Your Order
We will purchase your products right after we receive the notice of successful payment for 1st charge from you. Normally, the item will take 2-3 days to arrive at our warehouse
Step 5: Make Your 2nd Payment & Get It Delivered
After the item arrives at our warehouse, we will notify our customers and at that time, they can create a packing request. We will pack, attach the shipping fee and approve it in the next 2 days. After that, you will need to pay for that fee. After receiving the notice of successful payment for 2nd charge from customers, we will start to ship your order. The shipping time will depend on the shipping method customers chose previously.
4. Operation Process
Step 1: Customers search for products they want, create an account to add their beloved items to cart or fill out a product request form and await approval to buy items.
Step 2: Japan Flow will manually review each request for compliance with our prohibited items list.
Step 3: Customers make 1st payment, including the product cost and service fee. See detailed service fees here.
Step 4: Japan Flows purchases the items upon customers' purchase request.
Step 5: Once the purchased items arrive at our warehouse, we conduct thorough inspections to ensure received items match customer orders and meet our quality standards.
Step 6: Customers create a packing request specifying their preferred packaging options and any additional instructions.
Step 7: Japan Flow weighs the package and calculates the shipping fee based on the destination and preferred courier. We will provide customers with price options, including shipping fees and any other applicable charges.
Step 8: Customers make a 2nd payment covering shipping fees and any additional recommended fees.
Step 9: Japan Flow packs the items securely according to the customer's packing request and our packaging standards. We then arrange for the shipment to be dispatched via the chosen courier service, ensuring timely delivery.

The First Charge (required):
- Item Price: This includes the price listed on the product page at the time of payment, along with any applicable sales tax or VAT.
- Service Fee: Our default service fee covers the purchasing fee for our staff to buy the item on your behalf and a re-packing fee. Additional services like insurance, photos, storage, etc., are available for an extra charge. For more details, please refer to our service fees here.
The Second Charge (required):
- International Shipping Fee: Calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the item, as well as the rates of international carriers.
- Special Packing Fee: ¥200 additional charge for items requiring special packing upon delivery to our warehouse if not initially selected during the first payment.
Other Fees (optional):
- Import Tax and VAT: Responsibility of the customer, depending on each country's customs regulations.
- Export Clearance Fee: ¥2,800 JPY applied to packages exceeding a total value of ¥200,000 JPY.
- Special Delivery Fee (FedEx outside distribution area)

6. What other websites can I buy from with Japan Flow?
Any website is eligible for our service, as long as:
- You see your beloved item through searching on our web or fill in our request form with the product link you have.
- The purchased items are not prohibited. (see here)
- The shop in question is able to ship your order to our headquarters
